We are open Monday-Friday from 9:00-14:30 during term time

Included within these hours are a 30min lunch break of which a daily charge of £4.50 will incur for all KCC funded children.  These will be invoiced at the start of the new term.

In addition to this we also offer the option to drop your child off at 08.30am (an additional daily fee of £4.00 will occur for this and it must be prearranged through Tina Driver or Jo Jordan)

Consumable Fee: We have a voluntary consumable fee of £1.00 per session which is payable at the start of the new term.  The consumable charge is to cover items which are not covered by government funding from the local authority such as mid-morning snack and daily craft material provided by pre-school.

Illness/Absence:  No refund will be given in the event of a child's absence due to illness or holiday.

Closures:  Should the pre-school be unable to open due to bad weather or any other unforeseen circumstances, parents will be offered alternative sessions.

KCC Free Entitlement Funding

From the term following your child's 3rd birthday, your child is entitled to 15 hours free nursery education per week for 38 weeks of the year. These can be used as morning sessions (each session is 2.5 hours) or as full days (5 hours).

We are now able to offer more funded hours under the 30 hour scheme.  To find out more and to check eligibility please visit kent.gov.uk/freechildcare or speak to a member of staff

We are also an approved provider of funding for 2 year old's through the 'Free for 2' scheme.  You can now apply online, please speak to a member of staff who will be able to give you full details.

From 2nd January 2024, eligible working parents can apply for 15 hours of childcare for their 2-year-old.  Parents have until 31st March 2024 to apply for a code, with mid-January to the end of February being the optimum time to apply in case they need to provide further information to support their application.

To apply for a child-care code each parent needs to be working and earning the equivalent of 16 hours a week at national minimum/living wage and under £100,000 adjusted net income per year.  This means that each parent needs to earn from just over £8,600 per year to be eligible for 15 hours a week of childcare during term time.

There is more information on the childcare support available to parents on the Childcare Choices website, where you can explore the early education entitlement and other government help with childcare costs.
